DETROIT, MICHIGAN, JANUARY 3, 2023: Cascade Partners is pleased to announce the promotion of Arjun Murthy from Director to Managing Director.
Arjun has distinguished himself throughout his career as a financial executive and strategic resource to companies large and small. He began his professional career as a commercial lender, after serving there as an intern. This finance experience was complemented by his role as a Congressional intern for the late United States Senator Carl Levin (D-MI). After leaving the banking industry, Arjun continued to develop his financial expertise and ability to serve the needs of middle-market businesses as an investment banking professional locally and then as a corporate development executive at TriMas Corporation.
Arjun joined Cascade Partners as Director of Investment Banking where he advised clients and completed buy-side, sell-side, and financing transactions across multiple industries and markets. His transactional leadership is only one part of his contribution to Cascade’s success. He is committed to nurturing the next generation of investment bankers and leaders, mentoring the firm’s young talent, heading the intern program at Cascade, and has working extensively to bring exceptional new talent to the firm.
Arjun has been recognized in the M&A community both locally and nationally. He is the recipient of the 14th Annual M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leader, MiBiz M&A Young Dealmaker of the Year, and ACG Detroit M&A All Stars Awards Rising Star awards. Arjun also served on the ACG Corporate Development Alliance Committee in Detroit and is involved in recruiting and events for the University of Michigan MBA (student ambassador) program.
