Xtreme Powerline Construction (“Xtreme”), a leading utility infrastructure construction company based in Port Huron, Michigan, has sold a majority interest to Aecon Utilities (“Aecon”).
Founded in 2007, Xtreme is a full-service powerline constructor employing approximately 300 people. The company provides exceptional electrical contractor services across the U.S., specializing in overhead distribution line repair, maintenance, and expansion. Additionally, Xtreme offers emergency restoration services to over 20 utility clients nationwide and holds a longstanding overhead distribution Master Service Agreement with DTE Energy.
This majority-share partnership allows key shareholders to fully retire while enabling Scott Sheldon, Xtreme’s President, to accelerate growth by offering new services to existing customers, expanding their footprint and capabilities in new markets, strengthening customer relationships, and creating new opportunities for their team.
