Cascade assisted in the successful closing of a transaction for AMDG, marking the start of a strategic partnership with The Stonewall Group, a national investor in premier regional architecture and engineering firms.
Founded in 1992, AMDG Architects has earned a reputation for its collaborative, client-centered approach and commitment to design excellence. With a 27-person team, AMDG offers comprehensive services—including site planning and design, master planning, architecture, and interior design—serving sectors such as custom residential, PK–12 education, higher education, workplace, healthcare, sports and fitness, and faith-based and nonprofit organizations.
The Goal
Peter Baldwin, AIA, NCARB, AMDG’s sole shareholder, wanted to find a partner to help:
- Identify a three- to five-year succession plan
- Position AMDG for future growth in West Michigan
- Provide an environment for the team to flourish
