DETROIT, MICHIGAN, JULY 1, 2024—Cascade Partners (Cascade), a leading middle-market investment banking firm, today announced the promotions of five professionals effective July 1, 2024.

These include the promotion of Emerson Fisher to Director, Gary Sandhu, Timothy Iaquinta to Vice President, Claudio Jeberaeel, and Justin Cheetham to Associate.

Emerson Fisher - Vice President, Cascade Partners

Emerson Fisher earned the promotion to Director from Vice President. Emerson has distinguished himself throughout his career as a financial executive and strategic resource to companies of all sizes. He began his professional career with Zurich Insurance Group, gaining first-hand experience in various corporate finance and accounting roles. He was also a founding partner at Connection Builders, an industry-leading professional services training and development firm. An Association for Corporate Growth member, Emerson earned a BA degree in Economics and Mathematics from Kalamazoo College.

Gary Sandhu, Vice President, Cascade Partners

Gary Sandhu earned the promotion to Vice President from Senior Associate. Gary is an experienced investment professional with almost a decade of experience in investment banking, asset management, and operational leadership. He co-founded Noblestone Capital and developed investment strategies across various funds, including hedged, private equity, and real estate. Gary held key roles at Morgan Stanley and Bay Capital, where he gained valuable experience in deal execution, deal management, capital raising, strategic planning, and risk management for both private and public companies. Gary holds a BS degree in Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Michigan and a Master’s in Corporate Finance and Strategy from Harvard University. He’s a CFA Society of Detroit member and holds a Series 63 license from FINRA.

Timothy Iaquinta, Vice President, Cascade Partners

Timothy Iaquinta earned the promotion to Vice President from Senior Associate. Tim graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. After graduating from university, he worked at Ally Financial in various roles, including financial reporting, FP&A, and treasury. During his time in treasury, Tim was exposed to the capital markets of debt and led the execution of numerous securitizations. Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Michigan State University and is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Claudio Jeberaeel, Associate, Cascade Partners

Claudio Jeberaeel earned the promotion to Associate from Analyst. As a Certified Public Account, his vast experiences as an External Auditor at Ernest & Young in Chicago and Property Accountant at Redico have proven invaluable to Cascade. Claudio studied international Finance at the Université de Namur and holds a Master of Science in accounting from the University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business.

Justin Cheetham, Associate, Cascade Partners

Justin Cheetham earned the promotion to Associate from Analyst. In April 2021, Justin graduated from Ivey Business School with a Bachelor of Arts. Prior to joining Cascade, Justin was an associate with PwC in the Valuations, Modeling, and Disputes practice based in Toronto, ON. While attending school, Justin joined the men’s golf team and the finance club.
