Aaron Newman brings more than a decade of investment banking and strategic advisory experience to Cascade Partners, serving as a trusted adviser to healthcare services companies and the owners who build them. His practice centers on healthcare providers, with deep experience across post-acute care, geriatrics, outsourced clinical services, multi-specialty and specialty physician groups, and value-based care enterprises.

Newman advises founders, families, and management teams on sell-side and buy-side M&A, debt advisory, and other strategic transactions, with particular focus on the moments that matter most to an owner: the sale of a business, a recapitalization, or a partnership that defines its next chapter. He is known for pairing a rigorous, senior-led process with plain-spoken counsel, and for staying in an owner’s corner from first conversation through close.

Transactions Newman has led or advised include: the sale of a leading primary care / value-based care provider in the post-acute space,, the sale of HealthySkin Dermatology to Forefront Dermatology, a portfolio company of Partners Group; the sale of BrookBeam Dental to The Smilist, a portfolio company of Zenyth Partners; and the sale of Ortho Rhode Island to Spire Orthopedics, a portfolio company of Kohlberg & Company. His work also includes sell-side advisory for founder-owned businesses in post-acute care and aesthetics.

Prior to joining Cascade, Newman was a Director in the healthcare investment banking group at a global middle-market investment bank.  Earlier in this career, he advised healthcare services clients as an investment banker at Cain Brothers and B. Riley Securties (fka FocalPoint Partners).

Newman earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Cum Laude, from DePaul University. He maintains his Series 79 and Series 63 licenses with FINRA.

Newman lives in Chicago with his wife, Liz, and their two children, Nora and Ezra.
