Eric Green Named Chief Executive Officer;
Two Senior Leaders Admitted to Partnership
Detroit, MI – January 20, 2026 – Cascade Partners (Cascade), a leading investment banking and turnaround and restructuring firm serving middle-market entrepreneurs, businesses and investors, announced a new leadership among their team. Eric Green has been named Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. He will succeed Founder Rajesh Kothari, CFA, who will continue as Chair of the Board and a Managing Director.
This leadership transition reflects a long-term succession plan developed by Kothari, working with the Board, to ensure the continued success and growth of Cascade and its team.
Green currently serves as Chief Operating Officer, a leadership role he assumed in January 2024. As CEO, Green will be responsible for leading the implementation of Cascade’s strategic priorities, including expanding the firm’s investment banking and restructuring capabilities, deepening industry specialization, strengthening talent development, and continuing to deliver differentiated outcomes for middle-market clients.

Green brings a breadth of experience to help lead Cascade and serve its clients, with a proven track record as an investor, operator, and advisor. He has deep experience leading growth-oriented organizations and advising on complex corporate finance initiatives. His background includes service as a U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander, followed by senior leadership roles across venture-backed and data-driven companies in healthcare, retail, logistics, and supply chain technology. Prior to joining Cascade, Green served in executive roles including CEO of reach | influence, Chief Commercial Officer of OneRail, and Chief Operating and Financial Officer of Chain.io, where he focused on scaling businesses and driving operational and financial performance.
In conjunction with the leadership transition, Cascade is also pleased to announce two additional changes to reinforce the firm’s commitment to
long-term succession planning and growth.
Arjun Murthy, Managing Director, and Emerson Fisher, Director, have been admitted to the Partnership and will join the Partnership group. Arjun will continue to lead the Infrastructure and Construction Practices and Talent Acquisition at the firm. Emerson will continue to drive transaction execution and our deal operations.

Murthy has 15 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, and operations. Prior to joining Cascade, he served as Senior Manager of Corporate Development at TriMas Corporation (NASDAQ: TRS), where he led M&A, divestitures, and corporate development initiatives across global consumer, aerospace, and industrial markets. Murthy’s leadership and impact have been widely recognized, including honors such as Crain’s 40 Under 40 (Detroit) and Young Dealmaker of The Year (Grand Rapids), ACG Detroit M&A All Stars Rising Star and M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leader awards.
Fisher brings more than 10 years of experience across investment banking, corporate finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship. He was previously a Partner at Connection Builders and earlier served as a Senior Associate at Cascade Partners, supporting transaction execution, after beginning his career in corporate finance and accounting roles at Zurich Insurance Group. Recognized for his outstanding leadership, Fisher was recently named an Emerging Leader by M&A Advisor.
